Top 5 Everyday Lipsticks For All Skin Tones

Hope the weekend is going leisurely great for all of you.I am back with a new post today and it is about my top 5 everyday lipsticks.I think lipsticks form an important part in the life of almost all women.Some women like to wear them everyday even when they are staying at home while there are some who prefer getting dolled up on special occasions only.Whatever the eve be,every woman tends to have one or the lipstick in her vanity she swears by,and is proud to own.

Today we are going to see what are my top 5 picks from my lipstick stash,which I like to alternate between,for my everyday wear.Most of these lipsticks are between budget ranged to mid range brands and YES!,these can be worn in a transitional day to night look as well.

1.Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick Nude-ist

The Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick has been a very recent purchase of mine from Feelunique along with some other amazing purchases here .I am absolutely in love with the quality of this velvet matte liquid lipstick.It feels really light,smooth on application and sets on the lips within a few seconds without any stretchy or drying feel.The shade Nude-ist 07 is a duskier pink,more of an everyday wear pink(hence No. 1 on this list) which will flatter a lot of Indian skin tones.Its quite long lasting and comfortable to wear and has become an immediate favourite in my vanity.

2.Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Sultry

Now this is an old favourite of mine.I have been using it from the past year and a half and it has not disappointed me a bit.The matte lipstick comes in a crayon shaped bullet stick with twist up packaging.One of the most wearable,long-lasting pink browns which is easily available in Indian market.If you don’t want to get very experimental and try something that will definitely look good on you,I’d recommend you to go for the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm-Sultry.It gives a minty cool sensation on application which settles in a few seconds but the lipstick still transfers a little when you eat/drink.

3.Chambor Powder Matte-Coral Rose

A true matte lipstick in this list which looks and applies to a powdery matte finish on the lips.One has to be very careful with its application else it tends to accentuate the dry patches and fine lines.I love the Powder Matte Range from Chambor on the whole and this particular shade Coral Rose,is a perfect hybrid between a pink and brown colour.So it makes a perfect everyday wear  choice.Beware of the unpleasant,medicine smell though.

4.Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick Pretty Please

Colorbar Velvet Matte range has been a hot favourite since years.Given its affordable price  and exceptional quality of lipsticks with an unbelievable shade range,every lipstick addict hoards some of them in her makeup stash.This shade Pretty Please is a beautiful coral shade with a hint of pink/orange undertone,that doesn’t look OTT and flatters wheatish/brown skin quite well.I love pairing this lip shade with an intense smokey eye as well.

5. Loreal Moist Mat-Maple Mocha

If we are talking about everyday lipsticks on Indian Skintones and not including any brown,I feel the list is incomplete.I generally don’t prefer wearing brown lipsticks, because I more of a girly pink lip shade girl but this particular lipstick from Loreal looks so good on my Skin and immediate imparts a warm glow on the face that it changed my perception on donning browns.Loreal Moist Mat Maple Mocha Lipstick is a true brown lipstick that would flatter almost every skin tone.It leaves a satin matte feeling on the lips after application and settling.
