A Summer Wedding Dress Up!

summer wedding dress

Hi Guys!

Hope you have been weekending well.I am back with a new post today where I share my outfit idea for a summer wedding.Weddings in India are a perennial thing and a summer wedding makes it even more fun when one can dress up in the brightest, happiest and floral prints and colours. Now I know carrying all those heavy lehengas and sarees might look like a task but then No Pain, No Gain! I have two close weddings to attend in the next month, so I thought why not share some ideas to make dressing up in Summer Weddings look a bit easier.

In today’s post, I am sharing an outfit which has been in my closet for around three years now and it still never gets old. I get back to wearing it every few months in a wedding or a party. I fell in love with this particular Anarkali for the sequinned work on its neckline and the same still fetches me compliments everytime I wear it.This candy pink anarkali seems like a match made in Heaven for dressing up ethnic in Summers.

I feel Maroons,Blacks and Purples should be left for the colder months to dive into festive attires and colours like this work best for the warmer months of the year. I remember wearing it for one of my cousins April wedding, two years back and I was flooded with compliments that day. Who doesnt love them! 😀 😀

Most of us buy anarkalis and wear them twice or thrice at the most, so keep in mind while choosing a piece to pick something that you will not get bored of,even after two three years. Yes, yes I know that styles change but pick a Classic that never goes out of Fashion.

For this look I paired my Pink Anarkali bought from a local boutique in my City with Silver Earrings from Shoppers Stop and Tan Wedges from Elle. The chooridar sleeves leave no room for any bangles or bracelet to be worn on the wrist.Hair left open with a poof or even a bun looks great with this dress.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post.I would love to know how you like to dress up for a Summer Wedding Party?

Until next time, bye bye!
