NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Prague

I am back with a new post today. I will be sharing my detailed review about the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Prague below. NYX Cosmetics have been famous for their Soft Matte Lip Creams since a long time. I remember falling in love with this drugstore brand because of this range only. These creamy liquid lipsticks have been there from the past 5-6 years when the term ‘liquid lipsticks’ wasn’t even a rage.

I love how these have been named after capitals of countries.Of these, Addis Ababa is my absolute favourite lip product of all times.

Apart from these liquid lipsticks are now aso available as liquid suede cream lipsticks and lip lingerie.

Shade and Texture

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Prague is a deep toned pink almost hinting towards  pink brown and raspberry. This aspect makes it very suitable for tanned and duskier skintones. It will work with most eye makeup as well. I have been eyeing it on Indian shopping websites for so long but non-availability made me order it from an Insta store much more than its MRP.

The lipstick applies as a cream comfortably on the lips. It dries to a matte lipstick in a few seconds and it can amplify dried or chapped lips then. So make it a point to exfoliate lips before wearing it,it tends to settle into fine lines of lips. I love the fact that it doesn’t have the sticky nature of lip glosses(which is probably the reason it became a hit among masses)

 

Availability

Until recently, availability of NYX products was a major problem on Indian Shopping Websites but with http://nykaa.com bringing NYX officially to India most of you can easily lay your hands on them now. Apart from that, NYX can be bought from their official website and http://feelunique.com as well. Flipkart, Amazon and a lot of Instgram Sellers do sell NYX products but authenticity and pricing is quite questionable.

Swatches and Longevity

As you can see fromm the swatch below, it applies as a raspberry shade on the hands but tones down to a deep toned pink on my NC 42 skin. The colour might look a bit different according to your complexion. This stays approximately 4-5 hours on my lips and does not survive heavy meals sadly. It tends to settle down into fine lines after a while but other than that I have nothing to say against this range.
