I am back with a new post today where I today about the newly launched Maybelline the Magnum Barbie Mascara.Ladies all across the world who love makeup adore the Maybelline masacaras and I am sure every new Mascara from the house of Maybelline makes them quite excited.I am in the same league and after wearing the exceptional Falsies mascara,hopes from every new launch are expectedly high.

Lets discuss some major aspects of this Mascara in detail.

Looks

The first thing that you will notice about this mascara is that how quirky and classy the packaging looks,quite true to its name.It has a glossy metallic finish pink wand and bright yellow bottom which I am sure everybody will find very attractive.If not for its performance,every beauty lover will love to have it for the glam quotient.

Price

Maybelline Magnum Barbie Mascara retails at INR 399 for 9.2 ml.The drugstore brand is known for its affordability and this product fares well in that department.If you are someone who is just starting out with Mascaras and don’t want to spend a lot,this will make for a good buy.

Performance

This mascara is said to New Duo Fibers with Doll it up Brush.The fibers on the brush itself allow for generous application of the product but the product strtas clumping after a few coats and gets dried up quite easily.If I had to compare,I’d say that the performace is defintiely not at par with the Falsies Mascara.The problem of clumping after 2-3 coats makes layering very difficult which is a big downside for me.Eveb though the effect comes out well after 2 or coats,if you a big lash lover this wont suffice.
The curled wand makes for an easy application though.

Staying Power

Like all the Maybelline mascaras,this one stays put all day long without smudging or facing away.The removal of the Maybelline Magnum Barbie Mascara is a pain I tell you.It needs a good oil based makeup remover to be taken off from the eyelashes.Even after its removal,I feel that some traces are still left on either the lashes or the lower lid making me look like a racoon at night 😛
