Today I am going to share the top 5 looks that astonished everybody at the much talked about Bipasha Basu-Karan Singh Grover Wedding.First of all,a big thumbs up to the duo for not hiding under the rock and being so media friendly at their wedding.The bride looked extremely joyful,beaming with happiness which,according to me was the highlight of all the wedding ceremonies.
Now,let us see some of the looks that left us all spellbound.Yes,ofcourse,the bride looked like a million dollars in her Sabyasachi Avatars but let’s just shift our focus from her and see what the other B-Town divas wore at Bipasha’s Wedding Ceremony.
1.Malaika Arora Khan
For me,the powder blue Anita Dongre lehenga worn by Malaika stole the show.it is hands down one of the perfect colours to wear for a summer wedding in India.On top of it,her sleek low bun and pearl and kundan jewellery complimented this delicate ensemble quite well.Not to forget the gorgeously kohl rimmed eyes along with a soft smokey look was an icing onn the cake.
2.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Black and Gold,although is a repetitive and boring choice for a summer wedding ceremony but when it is the beautiful Aishwarya Rai carrying same,sparkles are sure to fly.The high slit Manish Malhotra Kurta which she paired with a golden flare skirt are two pieces of clothinng which are in trend right now and Mrs.Bachchan seemed to team them both together quite well.Side swept hair and minimal jewellery made sure her dress was the point of focus.
3.Sonam Kapoor
She surely never fails to surprise her fans with some refreshing looks time and again.When the whole world is running after blings and sequins during Wedding ceremonies,Ms. Kapoor chose to don a humble yet stylish piece of cotton saree.But the accessorising was the high point for me here.The choker neckpiece and the quirky handbag made sure her look stood apart from the crowd.The off shoulder blouse though good,could have had some other lace detailing.It looked like Sonam had to literally struggle to get into it(which most definitely is not the case)
4.Sophie Choudhary
This girl has upped her fashion game like a pro in the past few years.I really appreciate the work being dome on her by her stylist.Sophie looks shouted out loud that it was her best friend’s wedding.The orange and vibrant tomato red Manish Malhotra looked quite festive and wedding appropriate(I know some of us would really love to carry this look as a bridesmaid for bestie’s wedding) 😀 What say ladies?The minimal low bun seems to be a hot favourite among B-town celebs.Huh!
5.Neha Dhupia
Neha Dhupia’s look came as a pleasant surprise because I havent seen her doing such Sonakshi Sinha kind of looks.The Manish Malhotra golden cape top with a beige long flared skirt was what she chose to wear for this big fat Bengali-Punjabi wedding.She complimented the dress quite well but her hair,the mid part sleek straight style was a let down here.She could have gone for something more festive and elaborate.
By the Way,did you notice,Manish Malhotra seems to be a hot favourite among B-Town celebs when it comes to festive or wedding wear.The pieces are droolworthy for sure 🙂
