I am back with another review today. This time I will be talking about the Faces Long Wear eye pencil in the shade Solid Black. I have always been a fan of FACES Canada products. I think they make amazing makeup products and have never had any bad experiences with any item. Be it blushes, lipsticks, eyeshadows etc. every product they make is worth the money spent.

Coming back to the product, today we have a black eye pencil which is one of the essentials in a makeup lover’s vanity. Almost everyone who loves to do makeup has a black kajal or eye pencil in the kit. The important thing here is having an eye pencil that is jet black, easy to apply,carry and stays for a long time. Let me take you through whether the Faces pencil fares well on these points or not.

How To Use?

Sharpen FACES Longwear eye pencil. To guarantee a clean application sharpen your eye pencil every time you use it. Make a dotted line from the outer corner inward. Place the index finger of your non-dominant hand on the outer corner of your upper eyelid. Connect the dots and finish with the bottom lash.

My Experience With Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil

I have used a brown coloured eye pencil from Faces years ago so I am sure if that was from the same range but I was mighty impressed then as well. Coming to this eyeliner in Solid Black colour, this is hands down one of the blackest and most pigmented eye pencils in the market. Atleast in the drugstore and affordable range, I think it has no competition. It is very creamy and soft to apply, no tugging or pulling of lids. The intense pigmentation gives the jet black colour in one swipe. I can safely say that I has the intensity of a black gel eyeliner in pencil form.

In terms of staying power and longevity, it is very long lasting. It does not budge atleast 6-7 hours after wearing and no fading off as well. It comes in a pencil form which can be sharpened. Hygienically, this is one of the best forms to own but it leads to a lot of product wastage and it gets over really soon. This can be a con if you are in a tight budget.

Other than that, I absolutely love it and cannot wait to pick other colours from this range.
