A Black Striped Maxi Dress!

I am back with a styling post today and here I am showing you how I wore a black striped maxi dress for a summer holiday/beach mood. Summer and dresses go hand in hand and more so when it is an easy breezy maxi dress which you can literally wear anytime,anywhere. Striped Maxi Dress is one such piece of clothing which can be a really versatile thing in your closet. ANd not only in the summer season,it can look equally beautiful in the freezing cold as well. Anyhow since its Summers/Rainy in India right now, I will show you how I teamed up my classic striped black and white dress with some accessories to take the simple look to another level.

For this very beach appropriate look, I paired my basic striped maxi dress white a black sheer shirt and tied a knot near my waist.You can even unbutton the shirt or a shrug over the dress if you’d like to make the look more flowy and carefree.

For accessories, I chose a few midi rings and a big statement ring and a choker neckpiece with two pearls studded on each end. Since chokers are quite in right now, this completed the look without any efforts. FOr footwear, kept the look simple by pairing it with a black pair of flats with a silver lined heel.

Now coming to the star of this look, I wore this extremely huge floppy hat to give it my personal twist. I have always wanted a straw coloured floppy hat and when I saw this particular piece on Asos , I had to get my hands on it. When the parcel arrived in a gigantic box and I saw this, I couldnt have been happier since it was prettier than it looked on the website. You can wear this hat with so many different outfits- Denims, Shorts, Bikinis, Flowy Dresses. You name it and you will probably be able to pair it with that ensemble.
