I am back with another product review today and this time we talk about a liquid lipstick from a brand that makes them exceptionally good.Liquid lipsticks have taken over the beauty kits of fashionistas all across the world and we are not behind either.Runways,Big Blogger reviews have all been flooded with praising different brands of liquid lipsticks.I have seen NYX,Revlon,Chambor,MAC coming up with new liquid lipstick launches in the recent past.Lets see how a liquid lipstick from the Balm fares.

Shade Availability:-

the Balm had originally introduced 8 different shades of liquid lipsticks namely Adoring, Sentimental, Loyal, Devoted, Honest, Charming, Chivalrous and recently some new shade launches-Trustworthy,Doting,Dedicated,Sincere etc as well.The shades range from gorgeous peaches,coral,nudes,true red,fushcia pinks and oxblood colours as well.I am mighty impressed with the shade range they have.

I wore the Shade Sentimental in my Bright Pink Lip Look which is a stunning fushcia pink colour.These liquid lipsticks have a minty vanilla smell which is completely not my thing but I have got used to it and anything for a good,long lasting lipstick.Right? 😀

The swatch below shows that the shade Honest is honestly a peachy-coral shade which would work great on a lot of skin tones.Even if you have some pigmentation around the mouth,first colour correct it and then apply this particular shade else it might look at bit Over the top.The liquid lipstick applies to a satin matte finish on the lips.The first 15 seconds of application might feel a bit tacky on the lips but it dries to a finish where you feel almost nothing on the lips.

In my opinion,I find them even more comfortable than my bullet lipsticks and I am reaching out for these shades when I have to wear my lipstick the whole day wthout any touch up.

The availability might be an issue since no Indian beauty and makeup websites sell them.The best possible way to score this is to buy from Feelunique since no custom duties are levied on the shipment.

How It Looks On Me!

I am a MAC NC-42 and after colour correcting the slight pigmentation around my mouth,it compliments my wheatish skintone quite well.I feel this is going to look good on a lot of Indian women.

Overall Thoughts

the Balm liquid lipstick in the shade Honest is an exceptionally good quality,long lasting liquid lipstick and is worth giving a try if you have never tried liquid lipsticks before.I am a fan and I am sure you will become one too,after using them.ts on the pricier side but once you use it,you wont regret paying that amount for such a fabulous product.
