I am back with a new post today. In this post I will be talking about the pointers in which one can retain youth and its beauty in skin,body,hair and heart. Ageing signifies maturity, well it is a good sign to be mature enough but not when it comes to skin and hair. Most of us relate maturing with grey hair, sagging skin full of wrinkles. What if I share some points with you that will ensure to keep the process of ageing at bay for quite sometime or lets say will help us in ageing gracefully.
Rushing to cosmetic surgeons to get instant benefits and stall ageing can prove to be quite harmful in the long run and expensive too. Nature has provided us with abundant resources to keep the mind and body useful for a longer time.
How to Slow Down ageing?
1. Healthy Diet
Nothing can beat the nutrition and support a good diet provides. A day with meals filled with nutrients,vitamins and minerals can help in nourishing the system and slow down ageing and diseases related to it. Vitamin A, Biotin for hair, choline for skin, vitamin C to prevent wrinkles and water to keep the system hrdrated and flush toxins out of the system. Apart from these, start your day with a fresh fruit, fruit juice or green coconut water instead of tea or coffee.It makes a world of difference in your body.
Yoga, Pilates, Exercise, Running, Walking-Be it any form of exercise, it is good for the body and soul. It helps to keep the body in shape, improves body posture, increases oxygen supply and blood flow, keeps joints moving. But the thing to keep in mind is that one should exercise as per age, health conditions.
3. Checkups on a Regular Basis
Visiting the doctor regularly for health checkups and getting blood tests done on a yearly basis. It is very important to keep a check on the cardiovascular health of the system. Being healthy makes one look his/her youthful best.
4. Skincare and Haircare
Skin and hair form the largest part of the body. These two are the first ones to bring out the signs of ageing in the form of wrinkles, sagging skin,hyperpigmentation, grey hair and thinning of hair from the scalp. A lot of environmental factors, stress, pollution and illnesses cause premature ageing of the skin.
Thus it is very important to use products that are safe for the skin and hair to minimise the effect of chemicals.
5. Dental Care
Teeth and Oral hygiene are one of the most ignored part of the body in terms of taking care of the same. Tooth decay, gum diseases, wearing away of enamel and loss of teeth makes one look mature than the actual age. Intake of Vitamin D products is very essential to keep teeth healthy.
